ManufRactured exhibition at Portland Museum of Contemporary Craft

Devorah Sperber's two installations use manufactured cast-offs -- spools in one case, marker caps in the other -- to pixelate familiar images. Not readily visible until viewed through a condensing mirror or lens, each pattern operates as both iconic image and abstract visual.
